[3.0 Update] Notice of Discontinuation of 80-word Response Editing (Starting from December 5th)

Hello, this is the Ringle Customer Experience Team.


On December 4, 2023, Ringle will undergo the Ringle 3.0 update, a year-long preparation. With the 3.0 update, there are discontinuations and changes in some service offerings, and we would like to inform our customers about them.



Discontinuation of Long-Term Credit Benefit 80-word Response Editing




We will discontinue the 80-word Response Editing provided as a benefit for long-term credit starting from December 4.


The 80-word Response Editing was a benefit provided to customers who purchased long-term credits of 6 months or more. If a response to a material question was uploaded 24 hours before the class, tutors would proofread the answer and provide feedback in a report.


After the 3.0 update, we plan to discontinue the editing service. The reason is that

  • Due to the influence of services like ChatGPT, the number of customers using the 80-word response editing has significantly decreased to less than 6 customers per week (less than 1% of eligible users).
  • Instead of maintaining a benefit that customers are not utilizing, we have decided that it is more beneficial for our customers to provide compensation as a reward, considering their perspective for greater utilization of other Ringle services.


For these reasons, we will cease the service and plan to compensate eligible customers through individual communication.


[Beneficiaries of Long-Term Credit Benefit 80-word Response Editing]

  • Customers who purchased credits for 6 months or more between January 1, 2020, and December 24, 2021, and are currently using those credits.

The compensation details will vary based on the number of editing credits you currently possess. We aim to provide sufficient compensation, especially for the 80-word response editing. We will contact you directly to provide a detailed explanation of the compensation and the reasons for the discontinuation.
